Tic Tac respects all women. We find the recent statements and behavior completely inappropriate and unacceptable.

Even Tic Tacs issued a statement condemning Trump’s comments promoting sexual assault before Mr. Goodlatte issued this two-sentence statement.
Goodlatte’s Statement about the Trump Tapes
“Mr. Trump’s comments are reprehensible and rightly deserve to be condemned. All women should be treated with respect and these highly inappropriate comments are very disappointing.” – Bob Goodlatte
As one voter reacted this morning, “Wow, that’s really going out on a limb there, Bob!”
Of course, Mr. Goodlatte did not issue a comment until multiple people in the Republican establishment condemned Trump. Some even said they can’t support Trump anymore, and others called for Trump to end his campaign. Of course, until we hear Paul Ryan say that, we can’t expect Mr. Goodlatte to.
Kai’s Response to the Trump Tapes
“I don’t need to be Republican to apologize for Trump’s comments about women. I apologize as a man.”
Then, once Mr. Goodlatte finally issued his short statement a day later, Kai responded with this:
“As usual, Bob Goodlatte follows his party’s establishment leaders before giving a response – even regarding sexual assault against women.
I wish we had a congressman who would lead on standing up for women, not wait for permission from Paul Ryan to issue a weak two-sentence statement,
Mr. Goodlatte still has not denounced Trump’s offensive comments about veterans and Senator McCain, people with disabilities, or American citizens with Mexican heritage. I am glad he draws the line at sexual assault against women.”
